Band 4 Essential Care Awards Coordinator | Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust
We are looking for a special person to join our new Essential Care Awards programme, as it transitions from the pilot phase into its new home, in the Patient Experience Team. Although the role is principally in administration, it will also involve supporting people with lived experience of our healthcare, whether as a patient or a carer, to co-produce and co-deliver the Award programme.

Working directly with the Head of Patient Experience and Engagement, you will be responsible for the day-to-day smooth running of service visits, including preparing information packs in advance of visits and supporting completion of post-visit processes.You will co-ordinate the involvement of people with lived experience, including providing support and guidance to these volunteers. You will have the opportunity to develop the post, including using innovation and a QI approach, to enable everyone involved to have a say in how the programme evolves over time.
You will have experience of a busy administration role and be looking for a new challenge in a fast-paced environment in which no two days are ever the same. If you have a can-do attitude, diplomatic communication skills and enjoy problem solving, this could be just the post for you. Experience of working with volunteers would be useful, although not essential.
