Accounts Semi-Senior

Salary: Up to £34,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:

• Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate financial records and perform regular reconciliations.
• Accounts Preparation: Prepare accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
• Tax Returns: Assist in the preparation of VAT, corporation, and personal tax returns.
• Client Interaction: Engage with clients to resolve queries and provide financial advice.
• Audit Support: Assist in audit planning and fieldwork, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
• Mentoring: Support and mentor junior team members, fostering their professional development.

Requirements:

• Qualifications: AAT qualified or part-qualified ACCA/ACA.
• Experience: Previous experience in an accountancy practice is essential.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in accounting software.
