Full time - 37 hours per week (hours will be rota' d and you need to be flexible (IE 8-4, 9-5)Pay - £12.86 per hour for the first 12 weeks, increasing to £13.25 thereafter

Our client, a respected government department, is hiring Administrative Officers to support the efficient running of courts and tribunals in Salisbury on a 12-month temporary basis.This is a fantastic chance to contribute to a vital public service, working within a collaborative team committed to continuous improvement.
What you'll be doing:- Preparing papers, files, and court documents for hearings and meetings
- Managing records, data input, and updating case information on in-house systems
- Assisting with court clerking, scheduling, and supporting tribunal operations
- Handling face-to-face, telephone, and written enquiries with professionalism
- Supporting the organisation of meetings, training, and group activities
- Processing casework such as court orders, claims, fines, and legal aid documentation
- Verifying documents, checking records, and ensuring compliance with standards
- Communicating effectively with judiciary, court users, and external agencies
- Contributing to team meetings, problem-solving, and small projects
- Strong administrative skills with experience in customer service
- Good computer literacy, including data entry and document management
- Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, both face-to-face and over the phone
- Flexibility to work across different office locations as needed
- A proactive approach with initiative and problem-solving abilities
- 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) grades A-C, or NVQ Business Administration Level II
- Relevant administrative experience required
- Knowledge of operational delivery in a government or court setting is desirable
- Strong IT skills required including Microsoft package
- Strong Customer service skills required
