Job Description

CJCH are a thriving, award-winning legal practice with offices in Barry, Cardiff, Bridgend and Blackwood. We are seeking a versatile, personable receptionist for our busy Cardiff office. The office is multifaceted with our legal practice, our technology consultancy, and tenants based in the same building.
Awareness and training will be provided to become comfortable with these areas in order to support the routing of calls, taking messages, mail and filing. In this role you will be required to welcome visitors, answer and route calls, manging the postage and deliveries, coordinate meetings and catering as needed.
You should have excellent communication skills, computer skills, and competency in general office administration.
Role:

The role will include general admin support for the Cardiff office as well as:

  • Dealing with clients on the phone and in person
  • Archiving documents
  • Ordering stationery and office supplies
  • Photocopying and printing
  • Filing
  • Building bundles in Adobe and physical files
  • Processing incoming and outgoing post
  • Scanning incoming documents
  • Dealing with maintenance issues and liaising with tradespeople as necessary
  • General office administration
  • Meeting coordination (including arranging drinks/catering for guests and workshops)
Requirements:
Candidates should have strong communication skills and be able to work directly with clients and service providers in an appropriate, professional and efficient manner. Candidates should be proficient in IT (MS Teams, Outlook, Word, Powerpoint and Excel).

Previous experience with case managements systems preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.

The remuneration displayed is based on FTE, and will be prorata based on 2 days worked. Office hours are 9am to 5:30pm.
