Quality Assurance Officer (External Quality Assurance) - Newcastle upon Tyne

Contract: x2 Fixed term- 12 monthsLocation: Hybrid / Quorum Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne
This is a hybrid working role, so you’ll need to be able to work from our Head Office once a week
Hours per week: 37Salary: Up to £28,684, depending on experience
About the role
We’re excited to be looking for a QA Officer (External Quality Assurance) to join our External Quality Assurance team who are responsible for ensuring that internal assessments are delivered in line with our policies and reliable results are issued upholding high standards of compliance with regulatory requirements.
How you’ll make an impact:
- Accountable for resolving queries/complaints, providing recommendations to address any identified issues or improve processes, and providing root cause analysis on customer issues when required
- Accountable for completion of own workload through accurate, efficient delivery of QA processes to ensure delivery of exceptional customer service along with meeting internal and external timescales
- Developing and maintaining effective working relationships through delivering technical support, providing advice and guidance to key stakeholders in relation to Quality Assurance process to support the development of new products and deliver service excellence both within NCFE and externally
- Responsible for efficient delivery of external quality assurance activity including recruitment, training and performance management of flexible EQAs and Moderators

- Knowledge or experience of project or resource management in a regulated environment, driven around process and procedures.
- Confidence communicating with stakeholders and customers of various levels
- Strong planning and organising skills
- Competent in presenting findings (report writing, group discussions)
