Hours of Work:
Fri evening 7-8.30pm approx. 1 ½ hourAlternate Saturday and Sunday 11.30am - 1.30pm
Happy to negotiate timings and holiday cover available also
Role
We are looking for a personal assistant to help a 39 year old female who has severe ME and allergies. She is looking for assistance to support her to build routine and encourage her to try new things. Initially she is confined to her bed and needs help to transfer to bathroom from a wheelchair etc but can transfer herself so only requires supervision.With various health needs our client requires understanding and sensitivity to building a connection and trust whilst undertaking tasks. Our client would prefer afternoon visit and evening visit as has sleep issues but happy to discuss with the right candidate.
Applicants must have a caring attitude, have a good sense of humour, be reliable with a positive and flexible approach to work. Happy to discuss the breakdown of hours and split these if preferred.
Duties & Responsibilities- Provision of personal care
- Meal prep, shopping assistance and cooking
- Assisting client to have a wash down, bath; change clothes.
- Light housekeeping
- Medication assistance
