Communications Manager - London Park Schools
London Park Schools, the group of smaller, independent senior schools in London comprising LPS Clapham, LPS Mayfair, LPS Hybrid and LPS Sixth, is seeking a dynamic and creative Communications Manager to support the Head of Marketing, Admissions and Communications in building and enhancing the Group’s reputation and to showcase and celebrate each of its four schools’ unique identity.
This important role involves developing, creating and implementing strategic communications plans, managing PR campaigns, and ensuring that all our messaging and materials align with our values and objectives.
The ideal candidate will bring In-depth understanding and proven experience of working with senior stakeholders on multiple communications and/or writing projects to tight deadlines, most likely gained in either communications or journalism roles.
An understanding and appreciation of the value of independent education and of the London secondary school sector is essential, as is strong creative flair, and exceptional writing and proofreading skills. Attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines and a positive, proactive approach are key to success in this role.
Hours are full time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, full year. Annual salary circa £42,000, dependent on experience, plus benefits including five weeks holiday entitlement, contributory pension scheme and term time lunches.
The successful candidate would be expected to spend time in each school location and get to know and understand the unique characteristics of each school whilst also embracing and promoting the group as a whole.
