SEN Teaching Assistant – Immediate Start in Newton Abbot, Devon!

About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with a variety of needs. You will work in an inclusive environment that focuses on personalized support and holistic development. Full preparation and support will be provided, including a meet-and-greet session and a trial day.

Areas of Support:

  • Primary & Secondary Support
  • PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities)
  • SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health)
  • Complex Needs & ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder)

Details:

  • Start Date: ASAP – Flexible openings
  • Contract Type: Full-time, Temp-to-Perm
  • Pay: £85-£95 per day (based on experience)

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support for students with SEN
  • Work alongside teachers to create personalized learning plans
  • Foster a safe, positive environment for emotional and social growth
  • Adapt resources and activities to students’ learning styles

  • Previous education or care experience (preferred but not essential)
