Band 3 Cardiographer

Barts Health NHS Trust is currently one of the largest NHS Trust in England and encompasses five hospitals based in Central and East of London. The Trust is comprised of the Barts Heart Centre at St Bartholomew’s Hospital, The Royal London, Whipps Cross, Newham University and Mile end Hospitals.

We also provide cardiac physiology services at University College London Hospital.

We are currently seeking a forward thinking, dynamic, motivated individuals for a full time post at Barts Health NHS Trust.

The successful candidates will contribute to service provision including performing ECG, and other non-invasive cardiac investigations.

Previous experience in health and well-being setting is essential. Applicants would ideally have some experience of ECG. A desire and ability to learn is essential for the role.

We have a supportive environment for training and development including SCST qualifications an opportunity to apply to attend Conferences. You will be expected to demonstrate experience commensurate with role.however, further training will be provided if necessary.

The successful candidate will be a key member of the non-invasive services focusing on performing non-invasive cardiology diagnostics including the ambulatory monitor pathways.

The post holder will be required to perform foundation level tasks unsupervised and to assist senior staff as required. In addition the post holder may be required to supervise students.
