The Computer Science Department of Claremont High School Academy is looking for an enthusiastic and capable Computer Science/ICT teacher to deliver Computer Science and ICT, across all Key Stages with the ability to teach Maths for a September 2025 start.Our department is well-resourced, friendly and dedicated to providing a first-class learning experience we can for all our learners. The departments' results have been excellent across GCSE, A-level and Vocational courses.
At KS3 we provide ICT and Computer Science theory to provide life skills for all learners and prepare others for a future in ICT or Computer Science. At KS4 we offer GCSE Computer Science and Cambridge Nationals in Information Technologies. At KS5 we offer A-Level Computer Science and BTEC Level 3 Extended Certificate in Information Technology.
The successful candidate would be:-- knowledgeable in Computer Science and ICT,
- capable of delivering effective lessons to all learners in a class,
- adaptable enough to deliver a broad range of topics
- Able to deliver Maths to at least KS3 and KS4
- have the enthusiasm and drive to develop as a professional.
- be able to communicate effectively with learners of all abilities and backgrounds
