Manage complex glaucoma cases and develop personalized treatment plans. Perform high-volume cataract surgery, particularly for glaucoma patients. Participate in the consultant on-call rota for ophthalmic emergencies. glaucoma multidisciplinary team, working with nurses, optometrists, and orthoptists.
Service Development: Develop and expand the glaucoma service in line with best practice and NHS standards. Implement innovative practices, including virtual clinics and enhanced diagnostic pathways. Contribute to service improvement initiatives to enhance patient flow and outcomes.

Ensure the delivery of evidence-based and patient-centered care. Participate in morbidity and mortality meetings and clinical risk management processes. If successful this vacancy will require an enhanced DBS check at a cost of £54.50. This cost will be deducted from your first Trust salary. In addition to this it will be a condition of your employment that you will join the DBS update service and pay the annual subscription fee of £16.
