Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner

This care home has been developed to provide care for adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex physical disabilities
To be considered for this position you must hold a BSc in Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities/Applied Behaviour Analysis/Psychology/Nursing/Occupational Therapy
As the PBS Practitioner your key responsibilities include:
Work closely with the people we support, colleague teams and stakeholders to develop and deliver Positive Behaviour Support for individuals and servicesTo work in an environment where you can have a positive impact on improving both the long term and the everyday lives of the people we support
Deliver support that enables individuals to develop and improve their quality of life outcomes
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
Be willing and able to work towards instructor level in PROACT SCIPr-UKExperience with people with learning disabilities and/or ASC and Challenging Behaviour
Conducting assessment and developing, implementing and evaluating interventions for individuals presenting with Challenging Behaviours
A history of development and delivery of Positive Behaviour Support training
The successful PBS Practitioner will receive an excellent salary of £35,000 per annum. This exciting position is a permanent full time role working 37.5 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
