Homewood Grove is set in leafy countryside 1.5 miles to the west of Chertsey. Our residents live among fully manicured gardens with an outside terrace off the bar and bistro. We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Village Receptionist/Village Services Assistant

Job Description

The Village Services Assistant has responsibility to deliver a friendly and efficient customer service experience to owners and visitors, whilst creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
A key focus of the role will be to represent the Village Services Team (Concierge and Reception) ensuring owners queries, issues and bookings are dealt with quickly and efficiently.
The role holder, will support the Village Services Manager, who in turn supports the Operations Manager and Village Manager.
The post holder will carry out both reception and concierge duties including acting as a conduit between owners and services. This role is exceptionally dynamic and will continuously develop as the village matures.

Responsibilities:
  • To undertake front of house duties, including meeting, greeting and attending to the needs of our owners and members of the public - to ensure a superb customer service experience.
  • To build a good rapport with all owners and resolve any complaints/issues quickly to maintain high quality customer service.
  • To assist with owner booking and cancellation requests along with any ad hoc queries.
  • To assist in dealing with customer complaints in an effective and courteous manner, providing or seeking solutions as quickly as possible or passing it on to a relevant manager.
  • Undertake owner apartment inductions, ensuring owner is confident with all aspects of their new home.
Skills and Experience:
  • Undertake general office duties including emails, filing, telephone Management to ensure smooth running of reception area.
  • To report any maintenance, breakage or cleanliness problems to facilities team.
  • Must have a good standard of spoken and written English
  • Computer literacy, including Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Excellent Customer service skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Attention to detail
  • Problem-solving
  • Organised and thorough
  • Encourage high standards throughout the team
  • To assist in driving village vehicles and residents to various destinations.
  • Full driving licence.
  • Proof of right to work in the UK.
Qualifications:

The role holder must have the following qualifications/training or be able to demonstrate similar relevant experience in:

  • Customer Service
  • Administration
  • Clean Driving licence
Hours and any other restrictions:
This is a full time role and will be on a shift pattern and will include weekend work, with occasional evenings, when the manager has been unable to arrange appropriate cover. Flexibility is key.
Due to the nature of the environment the successful candidate will be required to undertake a DBS check - paid for by us.
