Manager - SIPP & Provider Administration
What will you be doing ?
We are looking for talented individual to join our SIPP & Provider Administration team in Bracknell. In your role, you will perform daily managerial duties associated with SIPP and Provider Administration requirements, supporting the Head of SIPP & Administration Provider.The role holder will manage a team of 5-6 direct reports, while also performing all activities within the team.
This is a great role, which will offer you the opportunity to deal with clients, external advisers, pension providers and being also involved in relationship management calls.
As a Manager - SIPP & Provider Administration, your responsibilities will include among others- Taking action to rectify errors or omissions and that any anomalies are escalated in a timely fashion.
- Providing technical advice to assist in resolving complex issues or queries which arise within the team.
- Supporting the Department Director in ensuring that systems, processes and controls are in place and are fit for purpose.
- Supporting Senior Management in ensuring that team procedures are documented, periodically reviewed and updated.
- Working with the Department Director to review business initiatives, policies and products from an operational perspective to ensure that they are fully supportable.
- Ensuring that all dealings with internal / external clients are conducted professionally and that requests are dealt with in a timely and effective manner and takes responsibility to resolve.
- Completing regular assessments of individuals and provides regular feedback to them on their performance and behaviours, recognising both strengths and areas for development and providing appropriate training, coaching and support.
- Relevant professional qualification(s) required CII Certificate in Pensions Administration (RO1 and FA2)
- Significant pensions experience gained within financial services or an outsourced provider.
- Demonstrable and practical knowledge of the regulatory environment relating to SIPPs.
- Experience of managing a team and its individual members, including delivering effective appraisals, performance management, etc.
- Experience of delegating and reviewing work advantageous but not essential.
- Demonstrate ability to understand and summarise complex information in a professional and concise manner.
- Strong Interpersonal skills are essential, with the ability to communicate well both written and verbally to senior audiences.
- Experience in pensions benefits would be advantageous
