A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Teacher of Music to join our dynamic and expressive Arts department.An excellent knowledge and understanding of the subject is essential. You must possess the skills and determination to make a significant difference to the lives of our students and share our single goal of ‘students first’.

The music department within the Arts faculty at Outwood Academy Kirkby is very well resourced and offers a range of instruments and music technology. Lessons are centred around practical performance from years 7 through to 11 and students achieve excellent outcomes.

The music teachers are also well supported by a team of peripatetic colleagues providing individual instrument lessons and a range of showcase performance opportunities throughout the year.
