The Cott Inn is situated in Dartington, just outside the mediaeval town of Totnes in the South Hams, the most beautiful part of the West Country. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to join a vibrant and positive team, with easy access to the local area providing plenty to do during time off.
We are a very busy destination country inn, with an enviable reputation for great food. Our produce is of very high quality and locally sourced, which we combine with excellent standards of service to deliver a fantastic guest experience. Alongside our main kitchen we have a separate ‘Garden Kitchen’ opening for the Spring and Summer operation, offering a fresh menu.
We are looking for a Chef de Partie to join our team. The successful applicant will have experience in a similar role and possess a real passion and flair for food and knowledge of fresh ingredients. The role primarily involves running the larder and pastry section, with input on menu items and the ability to work well under pressure a must- We are looking for someone with:
- Good leadership skills
- Knowledge of fresh ingredients
- Consistency in creating company standard dishes
- Someone with drive and someone who thrives off a busy service!!
