We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and motivated individual to join our dedicated, professional and friendly HR team at the Nuffield Department of Medicine. Working as part of the HR Centres of Excellence, this is a unique opportunity to develop the HR operations and employee relations offering within a growing and world-leading clinical research department.

As HR Operations Advisor the overarching aim of the role is to support the NDM and University strategic objective of retaining high calibre staff and supporting them throughout the employee life-cycle, ensuring employment practices are conducted in compliance with employment legislation, and departmental and University policy.

With previous experience of working in a forward-facing HR generalist role, you will have a track record of delivering a high-quality service to managers. Reporting to the HR Operations Partner, you will act as a trusted advisor to our stakeholders and will ensure that all advice and support offered to employees throughout their employment life cycle is delivered to a high standard and follows the agreed strategy of the Department.

To be successful in this role, you will be qualified to CIPD level 3 as a minimum, with proven generalist experience that supports the employee lifecycle. You will be flexible, adaptable and able to work in a highly demanding environment. High levels of attention to detail and discretion will be critical to this role, as well as the ability to manage ambiguity and the resilience to drive the right behaviours and approaches to achieve the desired results.

In return we offer a supportive and progressive environment where you can thrive and really be yourself.

The Nuffield Department of Medicine is friendly, welcoming and keen to engage with the many challenges and opportunities that arise in our world-leading, internationally recognised department. This role offers the opportunity to thrive in a diverse role in a supported environment.
