Zest4Talent is recruiting for a Business Development Manager for a company based in Petersfield specialising in a niche B2B technical product in computer vision and automation.

The successful candidate will have a stable career history with experience selling a technical product range. Previous experience in generating new business as well as maximising spend within an existing client base is essential. You will have a consultative approach to sales and be able to build strong working relationships.

Full product training will be provided and an aptitude to pick up the technical aspects of the product and technical terminology is essential. Qualified to degree level or equivalent is preferable.

To understand the complex industry and products it would be beneficial if you have an engineering qualification or are educated to A-level standard or equiv in physics or maths.

The Business Development Managers responsibilities will include:
  • Managing Existing relationships and developing new accounts
  • Educating clients on technical products and their applications
  • Prospecting and reaching out to lapsed clients.
  • Creating appointments for face-to-face meetings
  • Working collaboratively with the internal sales team
  • Building a sales pipeline and achieving your set annual sales target
  • Reporting sales and forecasts to MD and SMT
