Are you a passionate Level 3 Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role in a supportive and dedicated environment? We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity to join our Special SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) School in Blackburn.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to students with SEMH needs, helping them thrive both academically and emotionally.
- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and structured lessons.
- Work 1:1 or with small groups of students to implement personalized learning plans.
- Support the social and emotional development of students, building positive relationships.
- Contribute to creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
What We’re Looking For:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
- Experience working with children with SEMH needs or in a special educational setting is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage challenging behavior.
- A caring, patient, and proactive approach to supporting young learners.
