Specialist Sales Account Manager
We are looking for a Technical Sales Account Manager to join our Specialist sales team in the UK.
Our Specialist division work on major business areas relating to customers involving Government, Firestop, Building Envelope (Façade) and Rail across the UK.
You will have the opportunity to work on some of the UK’s biggest construction projects whilst at the same time receiving world-class training and development to take your career to the next level.
What does the role involve?
On a day-to-day basis, you can expect to:
- Go out into the field to see our customers, ask them open questions to understand their needs and provide a tailor-made solution.
- Demonstrate our innovative products and state-of-the-art software to customers on-site.
- Further develop ‘focus’ customers by building relationships, as well as uncovering new business leads
- Be responsible for the operational, organisational and strategic management of your sales area, fully utilizing the top-in-class CRM system, Salesforce
You’ll be part of a supportive, field-based regional team who are only a phone call away but you’ll be working by yourself on the whole, so you need to be comfortable with building relationships remotely and motivating yourself.
What you need is:
- Customer facing B2B sales experience
- Experience with large business customers is preferable
- Technical sales experience desirable
- Solution-oriented approach – you have the ability to uncover customers’ pain points and needs in order to provide our best-suited solutions
- You share our values – commitment, teamwork, courage and integrity
- Resilience and adaptability – you will be comfortable to meet all levels of customer from a site operator to managing director
- Drive – a motivated approach to achieving success and overcoming challenges
- Curiosity – you have a passion to learn, develop and grow
- Organizational skills – you are excellent at managing your time and priorities, and can easily work autonomously
- A full, clean, manual UK driving license to visit our customers on site 5 days a week, Monday to Friday
