Join Our Vibrant Accommodation Services Team!
About the role
Are you passionate about creating unforgettable student experiences? Do you want to develop your marketing skills while helping students transition into university life? If so, we want to hear from you!
At Accommodation Services, we manage nearly 1,800 on-campus bedrooms and support students living off-campus in Taunton and Treliske. We’re looking for an enthusiastic and creative individual to join our team and guide students through every step of their university journey—from choosing their accommodation to thriving in campus life.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead the Way at Open and Applicant Days
You’ll even present to prospective students and their families, helping them envision life on campus. (These events include about 10 Saturdays a year, with planned time off in lieu.)
- Be the Voice of Accommodation on Social Media
- Make Clearing & Arrivals Seamless and Fun
During the crucial clearing and arrivals periods, you’ll ensure students have all the information they need, from practical tips to fun insights about city life. You’ll also support campaigns designed to help first-time residents feel confident and excited.
- Keep Residents Connected and Engaged
- Shape Our Digital and Print Presence
Collaborate with the university’s marketing team to keep our website and prospectus content fresh, engaging, and on point. You’ll help ensure our materials reflect the dynamic and supportive experience we offer.
What We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking someone who’s organized, adaptable, and ready to bring fresh ideas to the table. Strong administration and IT skills are essential, but just as important are creativity, enthusiasm, and a willingness to explore new social media trends.
Why Join Us?
You’ll be part of a close-knit team that values collaboration, innovation, and student success. This is a fantastic opportunity for recent graduates or anyone looking to build a career in a fast-paced, people-focused environment.
