The Role:
As an Azure Cloud data engineer the job will include working on predominantly with Azure Databricks creating data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and implementing ETL (extract, transform, and load) processes to migrate and deploy data across systems.
You will be expected to perform independently and become a subject matter expert (SME), actively participating and contributing in team discussions, as well as providing solutions to work-related problems.
Develop innovative data solutions to optimize data generation, collection, and processing.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and integrity.
In our team we are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Data Engineer with:
- Experience in development and administration of ETL processes in Azure cloud environment.
- Troubleshooting issues, working with, and managing third party vendors, and aiding internal and external customers.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy data-driven insights.
- Ensure data privacy and security in all data-driven interfaces.
Set yourself apart:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake
- Good knowledge on SQL/Python/PySpark development.
- Proven understanding of Azure cloud principles & Azure DevOps.
- Understanding of SQL optimization best practices
- Understanding of data quality principles and best practices.
