SEN Teaching Assistant - ADD-HOC

Working Hours:08:30 AM - 04:30 PM, Monday - Friday

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a college in Coventry. This role involves supporting students with additional needs on an ad hoc basis. The ideal candidate will have experience working with adults or children with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and group support to students with additional needs.
• Assist in the implementation of individualised education plans (IEPs).
• Support students in their academic and personal development.
• Collaborate with teachers and other staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
• Monitor and report on student progress.

Requirements:

• Previous experience supporting adults or children with additional needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexibly and adapt to the needs of the students.
• A compassionate and patient approach to supporting students.
