Bennett & Game are representing a well-established main contractor who are seeking a Site Manager to join their growing team.

The business has been operating since the mid-1990s and delivers high-quality construction and refurbishment projects across the South and East of England. They specialise in bespoke residential schemes, including complex extensions, adaptations and high-specification works, typically ranging up to £1.5 million in value.

This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a live project, with support from an experienced team. The role offers a hands-on environment, working closely with both subcontractors and direct labour, with scope to make a real impact on project delivery.

• 12-month contract duration
• Start date: Early June

• Project: Residential adaptation and extension (disabled unit)
• Project value: Approx. £1.3 million

• Oversee day-to-day site operations on a residential adaptation and extension project
• Manage subcontractors and direct labour on site
• Coordinate all trades to ensure smooth project delivery
• Ensure works are completed to a high standard of finish
• Carry out setting out and oversee quality control
• Maintain site health and safety and general site organisation

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on residential or similar projects
• Strong background working with multiple trades
• Hands-on approach with a solid understanding of construction processes
• Experience delivering high-quality finishes
• Ideally SMSTS qualified, although attitude and experience are prioritised
• Must be based locally to Norwich or able to commute
