This is not just another Mathematics teacher role. It is an opportunity to inspire curiosity about the patterns and structures that underpin the world, develop students’ confidence and fluency in mathematical thinking, and shape excellence in Mathematics within a digitally innovative academy at the heart of a Trust driven by a deep commitment to creativity in education.

The BOA Group is seeking to appoint a motivated, dedicated and aspirational Teacher of Geography to join the team at BOA Digital Technologies Academy. This is an exciting opportunity for an excellent classroom practitioner who is passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and learning, fostering a love of Geography, and ensuring all students develop strong subject knowledge and the ability to think critically about the world around them.

The BOA Group is a unique and exceptional creative educational setting, committed to the highest standards of excellence. As a growing Multi-Academy Trust, we provide dynamic and innovative learning environments that serve as creative hubs for both the expressive arts and specialist technical and digital skills.

We are a digitally innovative academy within a Trust driven by a deep commitment to creativity in education.

Currently comprising three academies—BOA Creative, Digital and Performing Arts (opened in 2011), BOA Stage and Screen Production Academy (opened in 2021), and BOA Digital Technologies (opened in September 2022)—all located in the vibrant centre of Birmingham, we are positioned at the heart of the West Midlands’ thriving creative and digital industries.

This is a role for a strong classroom practitioner who is committed to raising standards, modelling best practice, and ensuring all students make excellent progress.

The successful candidate will promote a culture of high expectations and continuous improvement, using evidence-informed approaches to support effective teaching and learning. Through strong classroom practice and collaborative working, they will inspire students to develop mathematical fluency, reason logically, and apply their knowledge to solve problems with confidence.

With a passion for Mathematics and a commitment to educational excellence, the postholder will contribute to a dynamic and innovative learning environment where students are supported to achieve their full potential. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is driven to make a lasting impact—both in the classroom and across the wider academy.

You will benefit from visionary, inspirational and dynamic leadership and be empowered to further develop your own expertise and professional capacity.

If you share the Academy Trust’s vision and ambitions, have a passion for Geography, and are committed to working within an ethos of creative collaboration and partnership, we would be delighted to hear from you.
