Our client is a well-established medical practice in B17, Birmingham looking for a Medical Receptionist based full time on site.
Job Description- Managing patient appointments and walk-ins.
- Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring confidentiality.
- Handling incoming calls and responding to patient queries.
- Assisting with administrative tasks, such as scanning, photocopying, and filing.
- Processing patient payments and insurance claims.
- Coordinating with medical staff to ensure smooth operation of the practice.
- Managing patient feedback and complaints with empathy and professionalism.
- Upholding the practice's high standards of patient care and service.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Medical Receptionist should have:
- Experience working as a Receptionist
- Strong administrative and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Proficiency in computer systems, particularly Microsoft Office.
- Capability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- A compassionate and caring approach to patient care.
- Can commute to Birmingham B17
- Full training
- Monday to Friday 12-8pm or can choose 08:00 - 16:00
