Visiting Lecturer – Digital Marketing (Post-16 SEND Learners)

The British Creative Institute (BCI) is a creative media institution empowering post-16 learners with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). We provide pathways toward internships, work placements, and self-employment, enabling our learners to achieve independence and career success.
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Visiting Lecturer in Digital Marketing to join our team and deliver engaging, industry-relevant instruction tailored to the needs of SEND learners.
Job Role:As a Visiting Lecturer in Digital Marketing, you will:
Teach core and advanced digital marketing concepts, including social media strategy, content creation, SEO, email marketing, analytics, and paid advertising campaigns.
Develop and deliver lesson plans tailored to meet the diverse needs of SEND learners.
Support students in building skills that align with their career aspirations, such as entrepreneurship, internships, and work placements.
Provide practical, hands-on guidance on digital marketing tools and platforms for creating, analysing data, and developing marketing strategies.
Collaborate with staff to ensure that all teaching methods align with the institution's ethos of inclusivity and career readiness.
Inspire and mentor learners to achieve their full potential and explore pathways to internships, work placements, or self-employment.
Requirements: Essenrecognisedcognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent).
Certified Digital Marketing qualification with demonstrable industry experience in digital marketing.
Evidence of teaching or training experience in schools, colleges, universities, or similar settings.
A valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) certificate or willingness to undergo a DBS check.
Strong communicatorganisationalzational skills, with the ability to engage and motivate SEND learners.
Desirable: Experience working with post-16 SEND learners.
Knowledge of creative media tools and software, such as Adobe Creative Suite, to complement digital marketing instruction.
Additional Information:Salary: Negotiable, based on qualifications and experience.
Start Date: Immediate or as soon as possible.
Contract Type: Part-time, visiting lecturer role with flexibility in working days.
