£40K base salary

Our Client in Cardiff is recruiting for the above role of Care Home Manager.

You will be part of a fantastic family run company, who pride themselves on looking after their Staff and believe in progression within the company and making their staff feel valued.

YOUR DUTIES

To oversee/maintain the care of service users within the home. To take responsibility for the day to day running of the care home and ensure that all company policies and procedures, and all legal requirements (RISCA), are adhered to within the defined time scales.

Required:

1. Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social care Service (Adults’ Residential Management) Wales and Northern Ireland or Level 5 Diploma in Leadership in Health and Social Care Services (Adults’ Advanced Practice) Wales & Northern Ireland or equivalent.
2. Previous management/supervisory experience in relevant care setting.
3. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
4. Administer medication though eMAR
5. Team player.
6. IT literate
7. Genuine interest in working with the relevant client group.
8. Satisfactory police check and check against the PoVA list where applicable.

Desired:

1. 2 years supervisory experience.
2. To be registered with Social Care Wales
