Specialist Fitter / Fabricator
As a Specialist Fitter / Fabricator you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of both mobile and fixed plant equipment. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a strong commitment to safety.
Key Responsibilities- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of mobile and fixed plant equipment, including but not limited to crushers, conveyors, screens, pumps, and generators.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Preventive Maintenance: Develop and execute comprehensive preventive maintenance plans to extend the lifespan of equipment and reduce the likelihood of breakdowns.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities

- Parts Inventory: Manage and maintain an inventory of spare parts, .
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plant Maintenance
- Must have experience with GPS Topcon
- Proven experience as a Mobile & Fixed Plant Technician or similar role in a relevant industry.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting equipment schematics and technical manuals.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
Payment: £30.85 an hour ,Overtime after 10 hours a day 1.33
