Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, organised, and highly skilled individual to join the Integration Team who work with Place Based Partners in Sandwell and West Birmingham.
You will be providing high quality administrative support to the Integration Team. This will involve working closely with the Chief Integration Officer's EA; together you will form the administrative core of the team.- Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust (SWBT) is an integrated care organisation with a budget of approximately £600 million and over 7,000 staff.
- Our new acute hospital, the Midland Metropolitan University Hospital (MMUH), opened in 2024 and will provide care to our local population from first class, purpose-built premises. The development of the new hospital will play an important role in the regeneration of the wider area and in improving the lives of local people and reducing health inequalities.
Main duties of the job
Main duties of the job- To provide a full and comprehensive secretarial and administrative service, including typing of correspondence, reports, letters, minutes and other documents as required.
- To co-ordinate formal meetings and functions on behalf of team members, in addition to preparing agendas and relevant enclosures from information received.
- To attend meetings on across multiple sites and take, produce and circulate accurate complex minutes within an agreed time. Maintenance of personal & electronic files.
- To maintain on a daily basis an effective diary system, electronically as required by the Integration Team ensuring good practice and efficient use of working time. This may require use of tact and sensitivity to negotiate an agreement when dealing with large groups of senior staff and/or external staff.
- To liaise effectively with a range of staff including outside agencies and wider partners in order to ensure sound communication within the department/teams.

Experience
Essential criteria- • Previous secretarial experience
- • Previous PA experience within the NHS
Qualifications
Essential criteria- • Recognised qualification e.g. RSA II/III/or equivalent
- • GCSE English or equiv (Grades A-C)
- NVQ 11/111 or equivalent in relevant areas i.e. Business Admin
- ECDL
Knowledge
Essential criteria- • Understanding of a range of work procedures and practices, some of which are non-routine.
- • Good Understanding of Microsoft packages, PowerPoint, Excel, Word & Outlook

Essential criteria- • Ability to work in a pressurised environment
