Hays education are proudly working in partnership with an amazing primary school in St Helens. The school are seeking a passionate and bubbly administrator to join their team. This role is due to start after the Easter holidays and will be part time, 5 mornings per week from 08:00-13:00.

Your new role
  • Greet and assist visitors, parents, and students with a warm and professional demeanour.
  • Manage the school’s main reception area, ensuring it is welcoming and well-maintained.
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence efficiently and professionally.
  • Maintain accurate records and manage administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and scheduling.
  • Coordinate appointments and meetings for school staff and administration.
  • Assist with the organisation of school events and activities.
  • Provide general administrative support to the school leadership team.
What you’ll need to succeed
  • Previous experience in a front of house or administrative role, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • A friendly and approachable personality with a positive attitude.
  • A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
