Job Title: Quality Inspector**
**Reporting To:** Manufacturing Engineer**Salary:** £14.00 per hour
**Location:** Coventry, UK
**Working Hours:** Monday to Thursday, Day Shift, 40 hours per week
**Role Overview:**
As a **Quality Inspector** , you will be responsible for ensuring that products meet the required quality standards before they reach customers. You will conduct inspections, perform audits, and support quality assurance processes to maintain high levels of accuracy and compliance.This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality improvement.
**Key Responsibilities:**
**Product Inspection & Quality Control**- Perform in-process and final inspections of components and assemblies to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Use measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to check dimensions and tolerances.
- Identify defects, document findings, and communicate issues to relevant teams.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality concerns.
- Conduct quality audits on products and processes to maintain compliance with industry standards.
- Ensure accurate documentation of inspection results and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
- Assist in maintaining calibration systems for measuring equipment.
- Work closely with engineers and supervisors to uphold Health & Safety standards.
- Investigate and resolve supplier and customer quality issues.
- Support communication with suppliers regarding quality requirements and expectations.
- Assist in reviewing service reports and providing feedback on product performance.
- Suggest improvements to inspection processes to enhance efficiency and reduce defects.
- Maintain accurate training records and ensure adherence to compliance standards.
- Assist in the preparation of reports for management on quality performance and findings.
- Previous experience in a **Quality Inspector** or similar role within manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of **quality control processes, inspection techniques, and measuring equipment** .
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills to address quality concerns.
- A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to ensuring product quality.
- **£14.00 per hour.**
- **Monday to Thursday, Day Shift, 40 hours per week.**
