Senior Project Manager (Hybrid – Sheffield, 2 Office Days)

What will the role involve?- Owning and delivering client-facing, high-impact technology projects across cloud migrations, software upgrades, and implementations.
- Leading and managing multiple projects concurrently across complex stakeholder environments.
- Proactively managing risks and escalations, ensuring client satisfaction and providing solutions to keep projects on track.
- Running joint steering committees with senior stakeholders, ensuring alignment, strategic direction, and effective decision-making.
- Mentoring, developing, and supporting junior project managers, championing project excellence and fostering growth and best practices.
- Collaborating with internal engineering, product, and supporting teams to drive results for external clients.
- Ensuring delivery is on time, on budget, and scope with precision.
- Strong project delivery experience within a supplier, vendor, or consultancy environment.
- Demonstrated success managing software delivery projects for external clients (ideally in Financial Services)
- Proven track record of running client steering committees and managing senior stakeholder expectations.
- Expertise in cloud migrations, system implementations, and software upgrades.
- Confidence in escalation management—resolving challenges with confidence and clarity.
- Experience mentoring team members and leading by example.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent are a plus.
