Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join the team at The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust. The role involves delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to support individuals undergoing cancer treatment, helping them regain function and improve their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and deliver tailored occupational therapy interventions for patients undergoing cancer treatment.
- Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to provide holistic patient care.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to address physical, emotional, and social challenges.
- Educate patients, families, and carers on strategies to manage daily activities effectively.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to service development initiatives.
Key Requirements:
- HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experience in oncology or working with patients with complex needs (preferred).
- Strong assessment and rehabilitation planning skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a varied and complex caseload independently.
