An exciting opportunity has emerged within our London service for a Community Development and Engaement Team Leader to join our vibrant team.
Location: LondonHours Full Time: 37.5 hours per week
Full Time Salary: £35,220.59 - £37,184.90
Allowance: £4,133.14 ILW (paid pro rata)
Contract Type: Permanent
- Please note: Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.
Responsibilities:
About the role:
- Act as the conduit to identify existing untapped funding streams to assist Service Users and Peer Mentors in the development of social enterprise activities and Community Interest related development.
- Produce reports on the activity and effectiveness of community inclusion across the service.
- Work with the Management Team to identify key opportunities for the identification, development and growth of social enterprise and other innovative practice to promote independent recovery options for individuals leaving treatment
- Lead on Asset Based Community Development by establishing, promoting and creating assertive linkage with community groups and organisations including the voluntary and faith sector, work with multiple partners, service users, peer mentors, volunteers,
- Operational line management of a team of staff which includes supervision (with reflective practice), appraisal, performance and sickness management as well as ensuring staff follow CGL and external policies applicable to their roles
- Empowering staff to promote hope, empowerment, choices, control, and opportunities that assist service users reaching their full potential as individuals and community members
About you:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience of effective partnership working, relationship
- Knowledge and experience of developing and leading health and social care services and delivering services which evidence high performance and quality standards.
- Significant experience of leading teams who work with families where children are subject to social care intervention.
- Knowledge of current legislation surrounding children, young people, and safeguarding practice
- Able to lead, inspire and develop a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and able to use common MS Office applications (Word/Excel/Outlook)
- Experience of culture and change management, staff engagement,
service improvement.

Salary Range (pro rata if part time): CGL points 31 to 33 (£35,220.59 - £37,184.90)
