Job Duties:

  • Deliver engaging and informative Business Studies lessons to students
  • Plan and prepare lesson materials in accordance with the curriculum
  • Assess and evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practises
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development sessions

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in Business Studies or a related field
  • Experience in teaching Business Studies at the secondary level

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of the Business Studies curriculum
  • Effective classroom management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience using educational technology in the classroom

Working Conditions:

The role involves working full-time hours in a school setting, following the academic calendar. The teacher may need to participate in extracurricular activities and attend parent-teacher meetings.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
