One to One Care and Support Worker - Care Connect

At Care Connect we are dedicated to providing exceptional care to our service users. We are looking for compassionate and skilled One to One Care and Support Workers to join our team, supporting individuals with diverse needs in their own homes.

This role involves delivering personalized care and support tailored to the unique requirements of each client. Care Connect Workers are responsible for not only assisting with daily living activities like meal preparation, personal hygiene, and mobility support but also for encouraging and facilitating social interactions, community engagement, and skills development.

This position requires someone who can drive but they will supply access to a specialist vehicle.

You will work closely with clients to promote their independence while providing the comfort and safety they need to thrive in their own environment. Your responsibilities may include:

  • Assisting with personal care, including bathing, grooming, and hygiene.
  • Helping with meal planning and preparation.
  • Supporting clients with medication management and health-related tasks.
  • Engaging in recreational and social activities that enhance their well-being.
  • Documenting care progress and communicating with other care team members.

Requirements

We are looking for individuals who have a true passion for supporting others and the following qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a care setting is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • A patient, empathetic demeanor with a commitment to promoting client independence.
  • Relevant training or qualifications in Health and Social Care is an advantage.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours as needed by the clients.

Benefits

We are offering fulltime and part time contracts with hourly rates from £12.21 to £12.50 per hour.
