This is a large business services company that operates on a global scale. The organisation has a significant presence in the Engineering & Manufacturing sector and employs over 10,000 people. The firm's UK branch, based in Birmingham, prides itself on maintaining a collaborative and results-driven culture.

• Support the Engineering Manager in the day-to-day operations of the department.
• Assist in developing and implementing engineering strategies and procedures.
• Coordinate with different teams to ensure the smooth execution of projects.
• Monitor and maintain all engineering equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
• Provide technical guidance to the engineering team.
• Implement safety measures and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
• Oversee troubleshooting and repairs to resolve equipment issues.
• Participate in budgeting and cost estimation for engineering projects.

The Successful Applicant

You will be an experienced Engineering Team Lead/Senior Engineer/Assistant Engineering Manager, that's looking for that next step in their career, as well as:

• A recognised Engineering qualification (Minimum Level 3)
• Proven experience in an engineering management or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of engineering procedures and principles.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong leadership abilities and a collaborative work style.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Up to £55,000/Annum
• Company pension scheme, with the company currently contributing 5%
• Company medical insurance
