Trainee Sales Executive

Contract Type: PermanentHours: 42 hours per week
Basic Salary: £25,000, upon training completion bonus after 3 months OTE £50,000
Lookers Glasgow Volvo are recruiting for an ambitious and experienced Trainee Sales Executive to join our hard-working and friendly team on site. Specialising in new and used car sales, you will work alongside our passionate sales team to provide Lookers first class customer service.
Joining our hard-working sales team, you will be a team player with exceptional communication skill to build rapport with colleagues and customers. Although previous automotive industry experience would be an advantage, we are keen to hear from you if you have strong sales or customer service experience too, as training will be provided.You will need a full UK driving licence to be eligible for this role.
Our Sales Executives are the key points of contact and pay close attention to detail to understand customers wants and needs- Communicating with customers via email, telephone and in person
- Suggesting suitable vehicles based on customer needs
- Arranging and accompanying customers on test drives
- Negotiating the final price for the sale
- Completing the relevant paperwork for each sale
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, self-motivated to crack on with the job and passionate about what they do. You will be expected to hit targets so being ambitious and hard-working is essential.
Previous experience in a similar position and within the motor trade would be preferred but not essential as we are always on the look out for new/fresh talent to join our team. You will hold a full UK driving license as you may be expected to drive some of the most prestigious cars on the market!
