Role Overview:As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities to achieve their personal goals, maintain independence, and engage in meaningful activities. This is a rewarding role where no two days are the same, and your impact will make a real difference in someone's life.
Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to individuals based on their needs.
- Assist with daily living tasks, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
- Support individuals in accessing community activities, employment, or education opportunities.
- Encourage independence and help develop life skills.
- Promote a safe, caring, and inclusive environment.
- Record and report progress and any changes in needs or behavior.
What We're Looking For:
- Passionate about supporting individuals with learning disabilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, patient, and empathetic.
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential - full training provided.
- Flexible and willing to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
