Administrator – Temporary Contract
- Start Date: ASAP | Duration: 6 months (possible extension)
- Pay Rate: £13.81 per hour | Location: Edinburgh, EH12 5HD (Hybrid)
- Working Hours: 35 hours per week (flexibility required for early starts/late finishes)
- Clearance: Basic disclosure required (£25 if successful)
Role Overview
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Administrator to support our client. This role requires excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality administrative support to the Board and BMU.
- Manage enquiries via phone, email, and the shared inbox.
- Coordinate diaries and schedule meetings.
- Act as the first point of contact for applicants, consultees, and Board Members.
- Perform reception duties during interviews.
- Arrange travel, accommodation, and procurement tasks as required.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Strong administrative experience, ideally in a public sector or board-level support role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organised with strong diary and inbox management experience.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively.
