IT Programme Delivery Lead – 12-Month FTC - MLM SEARCH
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced IT Programme Delivery Lead to join a leading UK financial services organization on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract. This senior role will spearhead the successful delivery of strategic IT transformation and integration programme in a highly regulated environment, with significant influence over programme governance, supplier performance, and budget control.
About the Role
You will provide end-to-end oversight of complex, multi-stream initiatives, ensuring that programme outcomes align with strategic business objectives. You will lead governance forums, establish best-in-class delivery frameworks, and act as the focal point for executive stakeholders, technology leaders, and delivery partners.
Key Responsibilities- - Strategic Leadership & Governance– Define and implement programme governance structures, manage RAID logs, oversee change control processes, track key decisions, and ensure alignment with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Budget & Financial Control– Manage multi-million-pound programme budgets, forecast expenditure, track variances, and ensure maximum value from all investments.
- Supplier & Vendor Management– Lead contractual negotiations, monitor supplier performance against SLAs, and ensure third-party deliverables meet quality, cost, and time expectations.
- Programme Delivery Oversight– Coordinate cross-functional internal teams and external development partners, ensuring resources, timelines, and priorities remain aligned with agreed outcomes.
- Performance Tracking– Establish and report on KPIs to measure project success, system performance, and stakeholder satisfaction, using dashboards and executive reporting tools.
- Process Improvement– Identify and implement opportunities for automation, standardization, and operational efficiency to strengthen IT delivery capability.
- - Proven track record in leading large-scale IT transformation and integration programmes withinfinancial services, ideallybanking or insurance.
- Deep expertise inPMO leadership, programme governance, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managingbudgets, cost control, and supplier contracts.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels, including C-suite.
