Pharmacy@Bucks is an innovative Outpatient Dispensing service that combines the knowledge of a community and a hospital Pharmacy to provide exemplary service to all our patients. Working in close partnership with the Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust (BHT), we thrive to provide a customer focused clinical service to all patients and Healthcare Professionals alike.
All Outpatient Pharmacies across Amersham, Stoke Mandeville and High Wycombe are run by Buckinghamshire Health Projects Ltd (BHPL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust. Pharmacy@Bucks provides dispensing services from outpatient prescriptions issued by BHT and advice to BHT staff and visitors, with the option to provide OTC medicines in the near future.
Main duties of the job
To provide a safe and efficient Pharmacy service to all patients in a friendly Pharmacy environment.To ensure the safe, efficient, and effective delivery of all aspects of the out-patient pharmacy services, in accordance with national and local standards
To assist the team in growing the community/hospital pharmacy business at Pharmacy@bucks

Person specification
Education, Professional Qualifications & Training
Essential criteria- GCSEs Grades A*- C (or equivalent) including Math and English.
- Have experience of Microsoft Office Software
- NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services or GPhC accredited equivalent course.
Experience
Essential criteria- Experience in stock management
- Have a customer care experience in any customer focused roles.
- Previous pharmacy or retail experience
Information Technology
Essential criteria- Excellent ability in using basic Microsoft Office applications including Microsoft Word and Excel.
PPE requirements: Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust requires all colleagues to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) in accordance with our infection prevention and control procedures.
