Job Description
Job Duties:
- Provide tailored English and Maths GCSE intervention sessions to students
- Assess students' learning needs and develop personalised learning plans
- Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to improve students' understanding and grades
- Monitor and track students' progress, providing regular feedback and support
- Collaborate with other educators and parents to ensure students' academic success
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience in teaching English and Maths at GCSE level
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds
Experience:
- At least 2 years of experience in tutoring or teaching English and Maths
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong knowledge of the English and Maths GCSE curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their academic goals
Working Conditions:
- Part-Time role with flexible hours
- Work primarily in educational settings such as schools or libraries or learners homes
- May require travel to different locations to conduct tutoring sessions
