Stock Controller

Do you have previous experience working as a Stock Controller or Stores Person from a manufacturing or engineering environment or similar? Are you looking for a new role in Oxford either temp to perm or on a permanent basis? We are recruiting for a Stock Controller to work a 37.5-hour week, Monday to Thursday 7.30am - 4pm and Fridays 7.30am - 1pm.

The Stock Controller will:

• To receive and inspect goods against delivery notes for accuracy and damages
• Inspection again specification and engineering drawings
• Notify relevant staff of any shortages, damage or non-conformance
• Assist when required with the physical movement of stock from the Goods-in area to the stores area and putting away stock
• Timely issue and kitting of materials to production in line with production schedules
• The continuous audit of all stock by periodic cycle counting
• Responsible for the storage, control and movement of raw material stock
• Loading/unloading trucks and moving stock
• Packing of customer orders ready for dispatch and completion all packing slips etc.

The Stock Controller will have :

• Previous experience from a similar role
• Experience using MRP Systems
• Excellent time management skills
• Strong communication skills
• Manufacturing or assembly or similar background
• Proficient IT skills
