CAMHS / Youth Justice Service (YJS) Mental Health Practitioner - Oldham

To identify and develop strategies to manage risk to the child / young person and others in line with Pennine Care and CAMHS and YJS procedures and protocols. Undertake liaison and joint work with other agencies. To give advice and support to the manager of the Youth Offending Service in terms of the development of services to meet the mental health needs of young offenders.
To provide consultation and training on a wide range of children / young peoples emotional health and well-being issues to professionals from a range of services including GPs, Early Help and Primary Care Services, Adult Mental Health Services, Social Care and Education Services.
To routinely monitor effectiveness of clinical work by the use of Routine Outcome Measures (ROM) and where outcomes are not improving for children, young people and families to engage in clinical review via peer review meetings and supervision.

To be based across the Youth Justice Service and Oldham CAMHS sites and be available to Youth Justice Colleagues for consultation and advice.
