Join us as a Data Analyst- Take on a new challenge in the Operations Centre of Excellence where you’ll manage the analysis of complex bank, franchise and function data to identify business issues and opportunities
- You’ll support the five year strategic vision for Operations and help us transform the operational capability across the bank
- This is a hands on role in which you'll hone your data analysis expertise and gain valuable experience in a dynamic area of our business
What you'll do
As a Data Analyst, you'll play a key role in supporting the delivery of high quality business solutions. You’ll be performing data extraction, storage, manipulation, processing and analysis, alongside developing and performing standard queries to ensure data quality and identify data inconsistencies and missing data.
We’ll look to you to provide high quality analytical input to help develop and implement innovative processes and resolve problems across the bank.
Day-to-day, you’ll be:
- Collecting, profiling and mapping appropriate data to use in defining new solutions for operations as well as for ongoing data activities
- Managing our Operations Analysis tool to include quarterly data refreshes
- Interpreting customer needs and turning them into functional or data requirements and process models
- Building and maintaining collaborative partnerships with key business stakeholders
The skills you'll need
We’re looking for someone with experience of using data analysis tools and delivering data analysis in an operations function. It’ll be ideal if you have experience of producing data visualisation for senior leaders enabled by great presentational skills to support delivery to key stakeholders.
We’ll also look for:
- An in-depth understanding of the interrelationships of data and multiple data domains and familiarity working with a broad range of data such as Operational, Technology, Finance and HR
- Significant experience with Tableau Explorer and familiarity with Snowflake and Power BI
- The ability to organise and analyse data to create business insights, present the outputs to business and interpret data sets to answer questions and solve problems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and experience of engaging senior stakeholders
