You'll need good organisational skills, high attention to detail, and considerable experience working in clinical research.
To co-ordinate and lead a multi-professional team working on an NIHR research portfolio within the Trust, across multiple specialties. This will include leading, guiding and assisting the research delivery team to enable them to provide the necessary support so that studies can be conducted safely, efficiently and to the required standards and targets.The postholder will be responsible for line managing junior research nurses, including recruitment and appraisals. The post will involve promoting and embedding a research culture within the Trust, acting as a resource to patients and multi-professional colleagues, and building effective working relations with other local staff and departments.

Responsible for overseeing, leading and co-ordinating the work of a team of research nurses, ensuring the studies begin in a timely manner and recruitment targets are met. Patient dignity, safety, and well-being is paramount.
