Senior Management Accountant
Location: Clapham hybridSector: Multi-site hospitalitySalary: £50,000 - £55,000
We are thrilled to be working with an innovative and growing hospitality group known for creating unique venues that feel like a home away from home.About the Role:As a Senior Management Accountant, you will join a dynamic finance team in a fast-paced and evolving business. This role provides excellent exposure across the entire company and offers opportunities to take on new challenges as the business grows. You will play a vital role in maintaining the financial health of the company while helping to streamline processes and support business-wide projects.Responsibilities:
Process purchase invoices and monitor the shared invoice inbox.Resolve invoice queries and perform supplier reconciliations.Review aged creditors and investigate old invoices.Assist with weekly payment runs and reconcile bank accounts.Lead in preparing monthly management accounts for review by the Finance Director.Maintain and update the fixed asset register and calculate depreciation.Reconcile balance sheet accounts, including posting prepayments and accruals.Assist with VAT return submissions and monthly payroll.Improve internal financial controls as the company grows.Support ad hoc finance tasks and cross-departmental projects.

Candidate Profile:
Proven experience as a Management Accountant in the hospitality or retail sector.Experience in preparing management accounts, month-end journals, and balance sheet reconciliations.Strong attention to detail and a high level of numeracy and accuracy.Ability to work independently, managing multiple tasks and meeting tight deadlines.Problem-solving skills, with the ability to spot and capitalize on financial opportunities.A team player with a flexible attitude and a proactive approach.Strong communication skills.Experience with Xero is an advantage.
