PS Limited are looking for a reliable, professional and flexible registered nurses to work in Residential Care Homes based in and around Cornwall. We need experienced registered nurses who are willing to take on work on an ad hoc basis.

The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 1 year + experience as registered nurse in a care home setting within the UK with a Valid NMC Pin

Roles & Responsibilies:
  • Provide a quality nursing service that meets the needs of the residents and fulfils regulatory and organisational requirements
  • Prepare and monitor residents’ care plans and supervise the delivery of all aspects of care to ensure that care is delivered to agreed quality standards and meets the needs to the individual
  • Assist in maintaining rotas to ensure that sufficient staff are available to deliver care and to comply with legislative requirements
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of clinical care to meet legislation and organisational standards and reflect best practice
  • Ensure the completion of quality and risk assessments to ensure that services meet the needs of the residents, and regulatory compliance, and fulfil organisational aims
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers, identifying and dealing with any shortfalls in service delivery and ensuring that complaints are dealt with appropriately and escalated when necessary

Applicants require:
Essential:
  • Registered Nurse on part 1 of the NMC register
  • Successful completion of the International English Language Testing System 7.0 in all 4 areas (if English if not the first language)
  • Minimum 1 years paid UK experience as a Registered Nurse
  • DBS
  • Emergency First Aid at Work Certificate (including CPR)
  • Manual Handling Certificate
  • Full Right to Work in the UK
  • 2 references (must cover past 3 years)
Desirable:
  • NVQ Assessor (D32/D33)

**Applicants must have an enhanced DBS which is on the updated service. If not, you'll have to be willing to apply for one**
